About Me
Welcome to my GITA webpage! My name is Roma Patel and I am a sophomore at Brea Olinda High School. This year is my second year in the GITA program, and I am a part of GITA 2. The other classes I am taking this year include AP Calculus AB, Literature and Composition 2 (H), AP European History, Chemistry (H), and Spanish 2. I am also a part of the BOHS Cross Country team, and the BOHS Soccer team, as well as a part of AC Brea's G06 PDA Team.
On campus, I am a part of Model United Nations, Speech and Debate, Lady IT, Key Club, HOSA, TedxBOHS and president of the Body Awareness Club. This year, I am working on a project using skills learned in GITA to educate children on social justice issues. Some of my dreams include developing my skills in coding and web design, attending a top college on the east coast, advocating for social rights, and becoming a dermatologist.
